Welcome to Starcross Dons Youth FC
Starcross Dons Youth Football Club was formed in the summer of 2019.
The club is an FA Charter Standard club and affiliated to Devon Football Association (FA). The club now has over 200 children playing football each week
The club is proud to be a female friendly football club, it runs a Devon F.A approved Wildcats training centre for girls only aged 5-11 and also has competitive girls teams that play in the Devon Girls League.
All our coaches are fully qualified and have had appropriate training from the FA including the relevant DBS checks as well as appropriate level of first aid and safeguarding training.
The youth section currently consists of an Under 7’s up to Under 13’s.
The youth section also runs a successful mini soccer programme for children aged 3-5 and these are our Dinky Dons! These sessions are short fun based sessions designed to get children into football by a fun games based approach.
We pride ourselves on our ethos of having a football offer for all.
Our Ethos & Aim
The main aim of the club is to Provide Opportunities for Children and Young People to play Football in a safe environment.
Our aim is to provide these children with a positive environment in which they will go on to learn and develop skills that they can use beyond football to handle life’s challenges.
We also want to be recognised as an important part of our community, being clear about what we can contribute to the community and supporting that community wherever we can.
The focus of the committee is to ensure a local offer of ‘football for all’ for children from Starcross and the surrounding area.
